CampNote is a mobile app designed for Ontario Parks campers to save, organize, and revisit their own camping experiences. Users can search parks, save specific campsites, write personal notes, upload photos, rate their experiences, and share recommendations with the camping community. The app makes it easy to remember favourite campsites and plan future camping trips based on real, first- hand knowledge
The App’s Goal
Official Ontario Parks listings often don’t reflect what a campsite is actually like in person, since de- tails like noise, privacy, shade, or crowding can differ from expectations. The goal of CampNote is to close that gap by letting campers record their own real experiences, so future trip decisions are based on what they actually lived through rather than a generic site description.
